BOOKING CONDITIONS

Contract of hire
Villas in the Sun acts as agents for the owner of the property you are hiring, therefore any contract is between the owner of the property and you the hirer.

Payment
We must receive your booking in writing on our booking form together with a deposit of 50% of the total rent: the balance of your rent being due six weeks before your holiday starts together with £25.00 booking and admin fee. Non payment of the balance of the rent by the due date shall be construed as cancellation of the contract.

Cancellation/Insurance
In the event of cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property in which case all monies will be returned to you less a small admin fee. However if we are unable to re-let we have to advise you that you will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, details of which are available on request.

Payment
This can be made directly into our bank account or alternatively by a Euro or sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank. The rate of exchange will be applicable to the date of cheque issued.

Arrival and departure times
The letting commences at 2pm on the first day of your holiday and ends at 10am on the day of departure however, some properties may differ from this due to flight times and you will be notified of the times when your booking is confirmed.

Groups of young people We regret we are unable to accept bookings from groups of people under the age of 21 unless prior arrangement with the villa owner has been sought.

Number in a party
This must not exceed the maximum number stipulated in the property description.

Compaints Any complaint must be notified immediately so that an investigation can be made if necessary and any remedial action taken if required. Complaints will not be accepted after the tenancy has ended.

Non availability of property
If for any reason beyond the owner's control, the property is not available on the dates booked all rental costs will be refunded in full but the hirer shall have no further claim against the owners or the agent.

Liability
Neither Villas in the Sun nor the owner shall be liable to you or any member of your party for any loss or damage to person or property arising from the letting.

Right of entry
The hirer must allow owners and their agents reasonable access to the property.

Lost, damage, care of property
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the property (reasonable wear and tear excluded). At the commencement of any let the property is cleaned and an itinerary taken. At the conclusion the same process takes place, please identify any damage or breakages to the cleaners, to enable them to replace these items for future letting. The owners of the villas reserve the right to contact the hirer directly, if they feel excessive damage or breakages have taken place. Some properties require a security deposit, which will be refunded in full in the event that no breakages have been identified at the conclusion of the let.

VAT
VAT is included in rental where applicable

Electricity/Heating Included in each let (except where indicated) all electricity, and calor gas replacement cylinders.

Linen
All linen i.e. sheets, duvets and towels are provided on a free of charge basis and relate to the number of beds required within each let.

Pets
In the event the hirer wishes to take any pet this must be agreed at the villa owners discretion.

Cots, high chairs and bicycles
These can be hired via Villas in the Sun and please ask for details when booking.
